Daníel Ágúst, DJ Margeir and his Orchestra do Technostrings Moss

What a way to end Iceland Airwaves 2008 - DJ Margeir and his Symphony Orchestra
conducted by Samuel Samuelsson play an hour long (!) version of Gus Gus’ track Moss.
Joining the Technostrings to open and close the piece is the Daníel Ágúst. From all
accounts in the half hour interlude between his singing duties Daníel was holed up
backstage reading a book. No wonder he looks so cool, calm, and collected when he
returned to the stage to round out the song.

Shot and edited by Stuart Rogers.

Retro Stefson cover Hjaltalín’s cover of Páll Óskar

Retro Stefson complete a trilogy of covers for the Iceland Airwaves podcast with their
reworking of Hjaltalín’s cover of Páll Óskar’s Þú komst við hjartað í mér (You touched
my heart). During Airwaves 2007, Sprengjuhöllin covered Retro Stefson’s Medallion
while Hjaltalín mustered up a version of Sprengjuhöllin’s Verum í sambandi sans lead
singer. Look out Páll Óskar, you’re next!

Recorded and edited by Stuart Rogers with sound mix by Benedikt Hermann Hermannsson.
